One would be surprised at the amount of things that will fit into a few bike saddle bags. My Dad (his idea really) and I have been thinking and planning this trip for months now. He arrived last Friday and tomorrow, Friday November 4th, we leave for Shikoku and to do a Henro (Pilgrimage) to the 88 temples there. It is a very traditional pilgrimage that is done by many people each year. Some walk, others take buses or cars, we hope to complete ours in 16 days on bicycles. Well, now for a bit of sleep and then tomorrow we are off!
What a wonderful adventure this truly shall be! Knowing how many candles will be on that birthday cake in July, we're REALLY impressed! SAFE TRAVELS!
