Uwajima

Down the coast today towards Uwajima. More beautiful coast line. 今日は宇和島行きで。海岸は本当に綺麗だった。

The rain on the train falls...

Kobo Daishi was really with us today. Providing Buses and Trains for difficult terrain and rain. Thank You! 今日はお大師様が見守ってくれていたみたい。雨も道もキツイ日にバスと電車をちゃんと用意してくれていた。ありがとう！

Hyper!

And on the way to 37 found a store better than super! It's "Hyper!" 37番への途中で「スーパー」よりスゴイ店を見付けた。なんと「ハイパー」だって！

Rainy Day....

And using the bus and then train was great because not only was it really wet, but it was really mountainous. バスと電車に乗ることにして本当によかった。雨もひどかったが道もすごい山道だった。

Packed up

After 36 it really started to rain, so packed up the bikes and hopped on a bus. 36番の後、雨がひどくなったので自転車を専用バッグに入れて、バスに乗った。

And dinner here was really just a simple affair. 遍路の晩御飯は凄く簡素だ。

Did our best, but didn't make it to 36 befor they closed. Did find a nice place to stay near by though. 頑張ったけど36番には間に合わなかった。でもいい旅館は見付かった。

One of the things that one sees a lot of are these unattended stands. The honor system, really wonderful. こう言う無人販売は本当によく見る。信頼で成り立っているというのが素晴らしい。
