昨年ボイラを撤去して頂いた時に裏の扉を壊さずに開けなかった。その後はネジで止めたけど、ちょっと隙間だらけで「元ボイラ室」、現在「乾燥機室」には冷たい空気が入ってた。また雪になって、裏から水も入ると言う心配になって来た冬。
そこで以前サイディングのために買って、ちょっと余ってた断熱材をコンパネを使って、裏及び外側からしっかりと新しい壁を作って隙間を防いだ。
ま、それで乾燥機室がよりちょっと暖かくそして安心出来た。(いつかはまた扉を入れたいね。。。。。)
Last year when we had the boiler removed, they could not do it without breaking the doors in the back. After that, I sealed them back up with screws, but there were still openings around the edges letting air into the "Old Boiler Room" now our "Dryer Room." With winter here and it starting to snow we also got worried about water seeping in.
I had some insulation left over from the siding work, and with a few sheets of plywood I sealed up the outside door from the back making a new insulated wall.
The Dryer Room is now a bit warmer and we can sleep better at night. (Still one of these days I would like to put in a new door.....)
